Puppy Treat Bags in the Works for Project Homeless Connect

We had fun with some of the residents at Sunrise Senior Living in Henderson making dog biscuits.  The biscuits will be bagged along with other treats and given out at the  2015 Project Homeless Connect on November 17th.

Last year we provided 75 bags of pet treats, which we ran out of within the first hour.  If you’d like to help, we have an Amazon Smile Wish List for donations.  Or if your office or group would like to hold a Pet Biscuit Round-up, we’d be happy to come by and pick them up by October 30th.  Or any donation is greatly appreciated.  Donate Here.

Although there are no exactly statistics on how many homeless animals are on the streets of Southern Nevada, it is assumed that at least 5% to 10% of people have pets.  With these homeless numbers, the homeless animals numbers are also staggering.  So why do homeless have pets? Pets of the Homeless has a Great FAQ on Homeless Pets.
